FSP-SAF-205P — Revised 28 Feb 2023
A minor is anyone under the age of eighteen (18) years.
A parent is a person who has legal responsibility for the care of a minor, whether this is a biological parent, adoptive parent, or legal guardian. Parents will be responsible for supervising their child, children, or teenager(s) and ensuring their safety throughout the convention.
Minors ages zero through twelve (0-12) are considered children and shall attend the convention by being added to a parent’s registration using the register children feature.
Children must be chaperoned at all times by their parent(s).
Minors ages thirteen through seventeen (13-17) are considered teenagers and shall attend the convention by registering themselves just as an adult would. Their status as a minor will be noted on their registration badge so they may be quickly identified by staff and vendors.
Teenagers ages thirteen through fifteen (13-15) must be chaperoned at all times by their parent(s).
Teenagers ages sixteen through seventeen (16-17) may attend the convention without a chaperone or without their parent(s) attending entirely, but they must produce a signed and notarized parental consent form upon checking in at registration. If they fail to produce this form then they must be chaperoned at all times by their parent(s).
