If you're able to help out on-site only or want to get a feel for things before committing to a single department, try volunteering! You must be at least 16 years old to volunteer. Each volunteer will earn rewards and swag! You may even earn a voucher worth the value of basic registration for next year!

Staff

If you're looking for a more committed role with year-round work you may be interested in applying for staff. Furcationland is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and all staff positions are volunteer only.

AV & Streaming - Lighting Designer

AV & Streaming - Resolume Technician

AV & Streaming - Video Technician

Hospitality - Assistant

Support Hospitality Lead, discreetly deliver food to staff, ensure setups, and cover shifts as needed.

Hospitality - Housekeeping

Prep and clean up before/after service, including dishes, counters, menus, and trash.

Hospitality - Kitchen

Assist with food prep before/during service, working closely with the Hospitality Lead.

Information Technology

Manages all information systems, including hardware, network, and data systems.

Logistics

Manage, procure, and transport assets/consumables; support departments to ensure resource availability.

Programming - Panels

Oversees event scheduling, panel applications, event distribution, and event operation.

Registration

Manages attendee registration, check-in, badge printing, customer service, and convention information distribution.

Safety - Third Shift

Ensures safety, security, accessibility, emergency response, and misconduct resolution.

Vendors

Manages dealers and artists, sells convention merchandise, and processes sales.

Volunteering

Responsible for procuring, scheduling, and coordinating volunteers during the convention.
